We’ve been pretty busy around here lately and now that summer is approaching we are going to be getting even busier. We have a slew of new releases on deck that we’re very excited to share with you. Up first? A larger re-issue Dream Panther’s stunning EP Beyonce’s Child.

This release has been around in one form or another for a couple of months, and we are really stoked to be giving it another push with this official cassette release. Check out its new and improved artwork above courtesy of our own Tim Thompson. If you’ve yet to familiarize yourself with Dream Panther’s own brand of pop funk, then now is your chance. Stream it on our Bandcamp and then snag a pre-order before the official release on June 4th.

This release is a bit of a change of pace for us, but we’re really excited to be throwing our support behind it and we hope you will as well. The tapes will go out soon, so until then you can stream the whole thing on our Bandcamp page.

We are super excited to announce another amazing addition to the CMC family. Help us welcome the multi-talented Canadian Sing Leaf. David Como has been making music as Sing Leaf for a while now, and Watery Moon is his first proper full-length effort. David is as versatile as he is talented, and Watery Moon covers a whole gamut of styles and takes on pop. From highly instrumental sounds, incorporating both electronic and acoustic elements, to more straight forward folk-pop songs like Same Old Satellite (below) – all overlaid with his unique vocals that somehow manage to fit into any music territory he creates.

This is one of the most distinctive and wide ranging projects we’ve put out, and really excited for it. You can head over to our Bandcamp to stream a few more tracks from the record, and be on the lookout for pre-orders soon. The record is due out May 7th.

We are beyond excited to announce our latest addition to the CMC roster… Los Angeles singer/songwriter Martin Roark as Tomemitsu! We’re gearing up to release Roark’s debut — m_o_d_e_s. Equipped with a sharp ear for melody and a lush whispered croon, Tomemitsu’s collection of bedroom acoustic gems that will surely whisk you away to your most enchanting dreams. Here’s what Roark had to say about m_o_d_e_s:
